Services Using Location Information
Some of the services may use location information transmitted from users' mobile phones. We only use this information within the scope necessary for the designated service. - Adverble Kenya collects location data to enable users access to our services which include Showing you vendors who are close to you.
- Adverble Kenya collects location data to enable users to have access to detailed information when it comes to the following services: Areas of interest, New establishments & Event Mapping. It is also used to support location-based advertising.
Location Settings for Android Devices
If you’re using an Android device, you have 3 location settings to choose from:
- Allow all the time: We may collect location information at any time, even when you’re not actively using the Adverble Kenya app. If a service needs “Allow all the time” we’ll ask for your permission when you enable the service.
- Allow only while using the app: We may collect location information when the app is visible on your screen or when you have requested a roadside assistance or recovery and during towing. You’ll get a persistent notification in your Android notification panel if location data is being collected in the background when you are in the “While using the app” setting.
- Deny: This option disables location services for the Adverble Kenya app. You can still use and access the other services found in the app, but you’ll not be able to use the establiment/vendor traffic location services.
